Thanks for the suggestions. On a related note, I wonder if anyone sells replacement bezels for Invictas? I have an Invicta auto diver I bought on sale and could replace the bezel cheaper than buying a new watch. I might actually wear it with a 12 hour bezel.

Tiger Concept sells a 12 hour bezel that will fit an Invicta Pro Diver (40mm). Listed as Option Q via the link below. I can attest that the TC bezel fits, as I've used it for an Invicta mod.

My watch is a 40mm Pro Diver model 9094, so that might be my best option. Thanks for the speedy reply!

I just posted the same question “over there” so let’s see what advice I get…

Definitely good to hear from multiple parties to get the most diverse input. Here's another full watch with a VH31 mechaQ movement on AliX. This is the OEM that supplies Cooper watches out of the UK. Oh and I know its an homage to the Benrus, so not like its Cooper's own original design. I've come so close to pulling the trigger before, but I do know a few guys who own these and have great things to say about them. Definitely a good choice for grab and go!

MyGiftStop on eBay has a few colorways of this model for about $65 incl. free shipping.

The replacement bezel Rabirnie was nice enough to locate for me is $23 with shipping. For $40 more I can get a new watch as well. LOL. It's a bit like buying a replacement battery for my cordless drill: the battery was $39 but a new drill with a new battery was $42.

I think this may be the route I choose.

Marathon Pilots Navigator, Swiss quartz w/ tritium lume, "fibershell" plastic case, acrylic crystal, 200m WR, $256 atm from Optics Planet -- "no markings," so doesn't say U.S. Government, for example.

https://www.opticsplanet.com/marathon-w ... itium.html

Best image I could find, but the $256 option shouldn't have the U.S. Government markings:

Sounds like a good excuse to go for this cool Bulova. Jomashop has it for $310. 42mm x 14mm (!), sapphire crystal, automatic.

You could shoot a lowball price to Greentoe and see if they can do better (their current price is $448). Maybe you'll luck out like yinzburgher did with his STO Samurai.
