Yes, exactly. And the second hand length from the left rendering. Of course that is just my opinion. I think it brings a crispness and natural balance to the composition of the dial.

Here is a rendering of a sunray blue dial version. I tested 4 different colors for the hand marking the seconds. I personally like V1 and V2. V1 makes the most sense for a dive watch while V2 has a ''stylish'' look.



Diamond
In V6, I tested a hollow version of the diamond. How do you like it?

I like the hollow diamond and first glance, but wonder if I would feel the same way “in the metal.” Maybe what looks good to my eye on a rendering differs from what looks better on the physical bezel.

Hi Brice, I am a bit late to this. I actually prefer V3. Perhaps because I tend to be more minimalist in my aesthetic preference. How V1 and V2 would work depends on the real-life color of the second hand and how it interacts with the dial. Assuming accurate representation, I think I prefer V1 over V2.

Sorry that I am a few days late responding, Brice! I think that V4 is my favorite for the blue dial. It looks like it will have a subtle "pop." V1 may be bit too much pop for me, but that's hard to say because red second hands seem popular on some watches. The blue second hand may be my second favorite, but that may be influenced by blue being my favorite color. Blue hand on a blue dial may work, but it's really hard for me to tell.

Exactly. Can't speak for the gentlemanly [mention]Split-Time[/mention] but I am a total pleb.

To me V3 is the most appealing. For the others I just think there are too many colors at play. V1 has blue dial + lumed hour and minutes + orange seconds + red tip + black bezel...just seems like a lot aesthetically. V2 the same, and the added issue of two different blues.

Edit: Oh, and I like the open diamond - nice touch.
