Bezel WILL NOT come off

#1

Post by CigarCity » Sun Sep 25, 2022 9:49 am

Bought an Invicta 9404 a few years back to try my hand at a mod and I finally got around to give it a try

Got the movement out but the bezel WON’T come off. Watched the vids and tried to pry it off, but just can’t get the tool wedged in far enough (at all) to pry it off. Gave up after marking up the lug and case. Used the rotary tool to carefully grind off the tramp stamp and still need to sand it down and polish it. Still pissed that a couldn’t pop the bezel off. I don’t have an exacto knife but I’ll try that next. It would be a lot easier to sand & polish the case without the bezel on.

Any tricks that I’m missing?

This thing will be hideous when I’m done. Can’t wait. LOL
