As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Watch Challenge Entry Format

Post by Sporkboy »

As we are approaching the posting of the watches for the first watch challenge, I figured it might be good to propose a loose format for posting our entries. The hope is that this will make the entries a bit easier to evaluate and to make sure that we get the most important information into the initial post.

Below is what I have come up with, please let me know what you think. Is there something that is missing or unnecessary?

Overall Picture of Watch Goes Here
Watch Make/Model//Reference:
Why You Picked it For This Challenge:
Cost:
Purchase Listing:
Maintenance/Repairs Done (if any):
Watch Details (dimensions, movement, features, etc.):
Additional Pictures Go Here

Please note that the format may need to be varied slightly for a particular challenge, but I think this covers the basics.

Should we include the regular stats of case diameter, lug width, L2L, thickness, etc.? I am guessing that would be in watch details.
