Heads Up! Stats: Quick and Dirty Cause I'm Going Out Of Town Edition (Phew, what a title!)
Like that unnecessarily long title says I am going out of town starting today. Three friends and myself are running the social media for Powercruise, the largest event of it's kind in the US. I'm up at the crack of dawn to get these numbers to you before I head out the door. But before I go, the numbers had a very nice rebound this month!
To the numbers!
(As always, if there is a particular brand, site or other piece of data you'd like, let me know and I can provide it.)
Let's remember a few things first:
I based these calculations on new and refurbished watches only.
I do not include watch accessories or used watches.
I only included deals with links.
The retail price used was either the retail price listed on the selling website, or found on the manufacturer's site.
Currency, if not in USD was converted to USD using Google's currency exchange calculator on the date the deal was posted.
"Largest" and "Smallest" deal is based solely on the percentage savings from listed retail. I do not make subjective determinations on the brands perceived value. That is up to you, the reader.

Great job everyone. The JohnP stole the most coveted of crowns! No not the most deals, the worst deal! It takes one of those gems that are very desirable or hard to find watches selling at a about retail. I still consider these to be great deals and am personally very glad they still get posted.
Hell, find me a Rolex sports watch for about retail and I could make some $$$.
Again, great work from all the deal hunters here and way to rebound from a bad month. I was a HUISABH lurker just taking advantage of all the deals until MoT posted the stats from a really poor month and it inspired me to take action. Seems like you all did the same!
Jeez, still feels like The Sultan of SoWhat or yinzburgher easily had me beat.
Personally, just tickled that I posted more deals in a month than the other Heads Up thread has for the year!

Most purchased deal - Codek spiral thanks to John P
Yea, that's probably the metric that means the most not only to the forum but to the forum member who is actually posting deals. It's great to find and post a whole mess of deals. But what feels far better IMO is to have people actually get excited about and buy a deal that they might not otherwise have known about. That's why the Codek deal is so cool......bc of how many people actually got in on that. And what's better yet, is that TheJohnP didn't just find that deal, he actually made it happen. Thanks JohnP! It's probably the type of thing we should try to do a little more. So anyway, nice job to everybody who posted a deal or just participated in any thread of the forum. I still like seeing JohnP and the Sultan posting great deals but I really like seeing new names posting too and I hope we keep seeing more.
