I see this comment a lot from a lot of people, and while I understand it, at the same time I don't.

These reissues are only ~1.3mm larger than the original watch Dave Scott wore.
If you only had a 6.25" wrist, as I have, then you would understand 100%.
6.25" wrist here and the Lunar Pilot is one of my most-worn watches. It's not a watch that disappears on your wrist, but I don't think it's as bad as people fear.

Here's a crappy mirror photo to show how it wears:

We all have different tolerances for watch size, but if the Lunar Pilot is close to your limit and you love the history or design, I'd urge you to try it on.
I'll piggyback Sussa's comments. While I don't own a Lunar Pilot, ManOnTime let me take his for a test drive for a few weeks. I can honestly say that it doesn't wear as large as you think. Here's a pic on my 6.75" wrist.

New release from Cuervo y Sobrinos, the Buceador Caribe (which also comes in brown and DLC, I believe):

And a new Circula (a brand I've not heard of before) SuperSport, which also comes in black and a limited edition grey, pre-orders start in July/August:

Piling on to the Lunar Pilot Lovefest...

I also have a 6.75" wrist and this is pretty much daily watch lately. Certainly not small, but IMO also not unreasonable.

BTW, I love the new colorway. Wasn't expecting to see a 4th variant, but I like it.

Yes, punchy for what is essentially a "fun" watch. I assumed CyS watches might be had at a significant discount, but have absolutely no basis for that assumption (other than blind optimism).

Christopher Ward C65 Divetimer Special Edition. Kinda like a modern take on the Mido ‘Rainbow’ Decompression Timer. Wish they had done this using the 40 x 20 case they have used for some of their other recent new releases. Still, another good looking offering from CW.

$715 pre-order for delivery later this month.

I reached out to Travis to try to get pricing, and requested a sample for review. If these are like the Resolute, they will be a great value.

Edit: Travis replied that the Valour is priced at $369 and ready for shipping on 31st July immediately when they start taking orders. He has also established a new EU store to serve the EU customers: eu.rzewatches.com

Note that they sell non-bracelet strap versions for $595, *AND*, you can get an additional 10% off by applying the code MOD10.

And remember Christopher Ward has the industry leading 60 day free returns policy, and 5 year movement guarantee.

I didn't think too hard about this one, and ordered one for myself for $535. At 150 total pieces, I have a feeling that this one will sell out quickly.

Did they pull it back or did it sell out? Both the link above and the link provided in the email straight from CW lead to error pages. And I can't find the watch independently on the site.

For anyone who was interested in buying the Christopher Ward C65 Divetimer Special Edition, which was limited to 150 pieces, and which very quickly sold out: There might be one on a bracelet becoming available soon.

Background: I ordered one on a bracelet, then realized that I'd prefer to order one on a leather strap. So I placed two orders the other day. I only just now e-mailed Christopher Ward to instruct them to cancel the bracelet order, while retaining the leather strap order.

So it seems likely to me that, from my cancellation, they should have one more available for sale soon.

Hope that helps someone here on this forum!
