As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Doing some research on the brand “Levrette” since I now own three of them, the oldest dating to the WWI era. Have learned that in the early 90’s the brand was acquired by Paul Picot, and they decided to keep it as a separate operating entity with its own unique styles and production. Was surprised to find a press announcement in May for a set of new releases, the first since the brand ceased production in the 90’s. It seems they are rolling out over summer.

https://www.laclessidra1945.it/levrette ... i-orologi/

Here some of the new releases, definitely taking quite a few cues from (if not downright copying) Rolex and Tudor. I definitely prefer the originality of the old Levrette before it was a Paul Picot brand, but still these are quite nice and come in either swiss quartz or SW200 / ETA variants. Pricing is roughly €350 for quartz and €700 for the swiss autos.

Unfamiliar with this brand and its history until reading about it here, so thanks for sharing it watchpalooza! 8-)
If the quality of detail and finishing is high this seems like quite a value!
Like the clean look of this version LEVRETTE 1832 LEVMASTER SUB-PROFESSIONAL 300, with clear Rolex, Tudor, and Omega influences:

Barton has released their own G Shock adapters. I'd expect the quality to be quite good.

Casio is reissuing the "Ripley" F100 line as the A100 Vintage. These look pretty cool.

I would prefer a bit smaller size, but there's a lot of watch for the price.

Here's a brand new drop I came across. Bill of MKII owns the rights to the name so it should be a decent quality release when it happens. $895 plus s&h

Stunning color and great specs.
I have another Islander model, similar case, and can say it's a lovely inexpensive dress sports watch.

Mitch Mason has started teasing their next model, a super compressor inspired diver called Maelstrom.

After the success of the CHRONICLE, we are proud to be expanding our frontiers with the MAELSTROM, our very first dive watch.

Launching on Kickstarter this October 2021. More information will be released in early August 2021.

If any of you are on the email list you have known this was coming for a couple of days. Spinnaker has released a 40 mm version of the Croft. These look nice, and I think for the specs are a good value, as most Spinnakers are IMO.

Stalked for 9 months till I snatched a new black dial MWW iconik 3 homage, wasn't going to let this one slide until all 175 units sold out in hours!
I'd say Bill@MKII is going to have a money maker on his hands. Here's a picture of the original, probably one of the rarest diver you can can't buy:
