As usual, I'm all over the place.

Seiko dominated this month because of two new arrivals, the Scuba (with the flower bud hour hand) and the SKX009.

The Rado Captain Cook continues to be my most often worn.

Not much change in my most worn. JLC Reverso was worn the most with my Speedmaster and Seamaster coming in second. I'm glad I decided to keep the Oris because it is one of my most worn watches. I wore 15 different watches compared to 21 in May. I had 62 watch entries so I'm averaging two different watches per day. In May I had 67.

A little less variety in July due to a one-watch vacation to kick off the month. The GBX-100 proved to be the perfect watch for a beach vacation.

My report for the month.

Once again, I am all over the place, but some trends are starting to breakthrough.

The SKX009 was worn the most this month. The new mods turned it into basically the perfect watch for me.

Here's mine. Same at the top with the JLC, Seamaster, and Speedmaster. I was a little surprised the Seamaster wasn't the most worn as that was the only watch I took on our trip in the first part of July.

I'm way behind in my forum reading and just caught up with this thread. Looks like a great exercise. I will try to participate in September after the one watch for August challenge is finished!

I'm playing catchup on June and July. I am totally all over the board. July also saw way more incoming than I expected. One watch was even sold without being worn.

I wore the Oceanking 1/2 the month of june yet it was sold. I want the gilt skyquest one day that may stay forever.

Casio, Mitch Mason, and Monta were sold.

July also saw way more incoming than I expected. One watch was even sold without being worn. GS SBGX was sold. Turtle was purchased as a hopefully permanent reintroduction back to my collection. I wore the black sumo tons. But that was mostly because i have been super busy and it was the easy choice. The C Ward chrono arrived but I haven't decided if Im keeping it so it sits in the box.

Seizenn, Steeldive, SBGX341 were sold.

CWard, SRP75, SRPG39, and Ninja Sumo all arrived this month.

All of this reinforces my belief that once I get past about 4 watches the wear patterns are just too illogical.

25 watches YTD in 2021 for me. 19 sold, 6 currently in-house.

Watches I have worn the most in 2021 regardless if they have been sold or not

SLA017 99 times
Tuna SBBN045 73 times [SOLD]
Tudor Ranger 43 Times [SOLD]
Ninja Sumo 28 Times
Ocean King 27 Times [SOLD]
GS SBGX341 24 Times [SOLD]
SPB147 20 Times [SOLD]

Out of that list SLA017, Ranger, Ocean King, Ninja Sumo are the most memorable in terms of how much I enjoy having them on wrist.

The Monta is in good hands though, I have been loving it :)

Continuing to be varied throughout the month, rarely wearing the same watch twice. Only the new-to-me Hamilton Khaki Field, favorite Unimatic U1, and two Vostoks had that honor. That might be the year's record for most watches worn more than once in a given month.

As for brands, Seiko was the most popular with five watches worn.

Wow I havent posted since July !!!
Added several watches and oddly everything seems to be getting worn
But it also means that once the TR660 comes in that some selling will have to continue. Sold the 2 turtles this month. What really is the problem is that I didnt expect to love the Certina as much as I do and the Halios was not meant to be purchased but here it is an I really love it too. The TR660 is a highly anticipated watch but may or may not stay depending on how reality meets the fantasy.

Some new favorites have disrupted my previous pattern of a different watch for each day. I find myself leaving my Garmin on all day at least once per weekend. No surprise that the Zodiac Olympos was my most worn watch last month. A little surprised that Casio has fallen from its top spot among the brands, but long-sleeve weather means less room for bulky Gs.

Interesting layout. you are getting a lot more wearings out of fewer pieces. How does that sit for you? Does it bother you to have pieces unworn?

The GShock comment. I think I would wear a Mud Master all the time if it was a little less bullky. I LOVED the watch though.

It doesn't bother me, because I look at what's at the bottom of the wear list year to date and there are few, if any, that I would want to sell. For example, I don't wear my Luch One Hander very often but I like the watch because it's a novel way to tell time. I have a Vostok mod that rarely gets worn, but I can just mod it into something else. At times I can feel like my collection is too big, but I like the variety.

I have thought about taking the top 8 from this year and seeing how long I'm happy wearing only those. Or bottom 8. Or top 2, middle 2, bottom 2. Could be a fun exercise.

I kept a wear tally for myself from Nov 2020-Nov 2021. Below are the results and a few observations I have made.

Brand & Model: # of Wears: # of months owned
(Listed in order of ownership)

Cadisen C1032: 14: 12
Citizen Drive AR 2.0: 26: 8
Orient Mako USA II: 39: 12
Orient Mako II: 40: 12
Casio AE1200: 13: 3
Spiedel digital: 55: 12
Relic ZR77109: 7: 12
Timex Weekender Causal: 7: 2
Pagani Design PD1644: 11: 4
Casio Edifice EFV100D/110D: 46: 11
Vostok Komansireski: 11: 2
Casio B650: ?: ?
Casio W217H: ?: ?
Timex Camper 36: 42: 8
Armitron Griffy: 8: 4
Casio F-91W: ?: ?
Timex X Huckberry Q: 34: 9
MWC G10LM: 31: 8
Timex MK1 Chrono: 21: 4
Timex Marlin: 14: 7
Orient Ray II: 18: 6
Seiko SNK809: 11: 3
Raketa Big Zero: 2: 2
Baume & Mercier Baumatic: 2: 2

Total watches in 11/2020-11/2021: 24
Total # of Wears: 475
Most worn: Spiedel Digital (55)
Least worn: Relic ZR77109 (7)

Trends:
Cases decreased in diameter as the year went on.
Cheaper watches got worn more than more expensive models.
Tracking of wears, made me conscious of what hadn't been worn in a while, so I believe this evened out some wear numbers.
All of the Casio digitals were worn as glove box watches, and I never recorded there wears.
