MoT’s Mostly Mighty Mystery Packs Results

Post by Sporkboy »

Did you get in on MoT’s Mostly Mighty Mystery Watch deal? viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2739

If you did, take a picture of your loot and post it here. I know my package was delivered, but I am stuck at work. Looking forward to finding out what I was sent.

First!

My package arrived today- I got two watches, and a very nice card and sticker from the boss man himself. :)

First, a Vostok Amphibia! I love the way this particular friction bezel looks and feels- and it's been a long time since I owned a Vostok (other than the recently acquired PAMphibia). Case shape is terrific. Big win!

Image

And it came on a MoT size bracelet :)

Image

Second watch: G-Shock 6900! I have only ever owned one G-Shock before, but never actually wore it before reselling. This one is going right on the wrist and will probably see a lot of use this summer. Excited to see how I like the G!

Image

Terrific package and I will enjoy these watches a lot. Thanks MoT!

Hooray!

Also, I can maybe get a finger between my wrist and that bracelet.

Third! The mystery box arrived today :D,

IMG_7214.JPEG

you could tell ManOnTime put some thought into the selection and even took the time to write his trademark Thank You note.

First was a Timex Expedition Indiglo that immediately took me down memory lane to my Indiglo Ironman that I though was the best in the world.

Next was a Casio Edifice, having recently waded into the Casio / G-Shock universe, this is a watch I've had in my cart a number of times!

IMG_7220.JPEG

Last but not least, the crown jewel of the set, a vintage 1972 Seiko hi-beat automatic dress watch. As a self proclaimed Seiko fanboy, I fell in love with this watch at first sight and know this will have a permanent place in my collection.

Thank you ManOnTime for taking the time to make such thoughtful selections!
