Answers to questions re Eterna Tangaroa Triple Calendar Chronograph

Post by cheddar »

Someone in the HUISABH thread asked why the date was changing at 10:00. I owned one of these in a grey colorway. The watch runs a Valjoux 7751…due to the number of complications, some of the date functions begin changing pretty early (they can’t change at the same time). I think 10:00 was about normal for mine.

BTW, with all those complications and the automatic rotor, this watch is a chonky boy. I got mine for about $800 at Ashford, obviously a heckuva deal, but since I prefer much simpler watches, and it was so thick, I wound up selling it on to another member of the forum.

Happy to answer any other questions folks might have.
