Fordite is a unique and rare material that is made out of thousands of layers of car paint from Detroit assembly plants layered over several decades in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. You can now own a part of American history, but only a limited amount remains!

By the 1980s, car manufacturers moved away from the hand-spray painting method. They now use an electrostatic process that doesn't produce Fordite. So get your hands on this unique and rare material while you still can!

Nice-looking Fall release from Timex on their site now:

Waterbury "Dive Chronograph" (quartz) @ $199 US on stainless. Also available on leather with black dial @ $179.
41mm case diameter. Despite the name, water resistance is only 100M. Nevertheless these will probably sell out quickly, but be restocked for the holidays.

I really like the look of the C65 Dartmouth Series 2 – that's a very clean look and the full lume dial is something I've never seen before.

That one goes from £950 on tropic to £1095 on bracelet with tax, less without.

JACK MASON is teasing the release of a new Automatic GMT called the "Strat-O-Timer." Assembled in USA. The name may inspire memories of the old Strategic Air Command days, among some of us older dudes. Below are a link, rendering, and spec sheet from their webpage. No other pics found.

The email I received teases: "Don't miss the GRAND UNBOXING on October 14th!" which will presumably be a video.

Also, their YouTube channel has a pair of rather artsy design video teasers..which I won't link here...but look for "New Affordable GMT??"

New mid sized 38mm diver launching pre-orders in about a week (October 25). Definitely has some sweet vintage skin diver vibes to it, and looks like a very well done homage to the Eberhard Scafograph. Nice to see something other than Rolex getting homaged.
