Do you guys think that these would sell like hotcakes with an inflated secondary market price?
OR
Do you think should I wait till the price goes down?
This one is a tough call. If I had to guess I’d say wait. The auto three handlers are holding their value much better than your average Tissot, but they are still less than MSRP.
Also getting a bit of a Zenith chronograph vibe from those Tissot PRX chronos. The movement finishing looks minimal, but would have to see more real-world images of it.
If the case thickness isn’t to much, and if they can be had for less than MSRP, they may be a strong contender.
This is going to be a bargain at full MSRP of around $1700. Watch for pre-orders for June delivery.

Anyone paying that price or more is insane

It does seem high but also in-line with the MSRP of other Tissot auto chronos and 7753s from other brands.
I want the panda colorway, but of course I'll wait until they start showing up on the discount sites.

$1700 is a very low MSRP for a Valjoux watch from a major brand. I haven't seen significant discounts on any other PRX models yet.
Macy's carries some of the PRX models, so maybe they'll have a coupon? They have bonus Macy's points and 8% Rakuten cash back right now.
What major brands even carry a 7750 watch anymore? I don’t see the movements around much at all.
Not too many, but there are a few still out there, pretty much all Swatch Group brands, of course. The PRX we are discussing is the 7753, which is just the 7750 modified so the subdials are at 3-6-9.
Hamilton's H-21 and H-21-S is the 7750. The H-21-S has a silicon balance spring. The Khaki Aviation Converters and X-Winds use the H-21-S while this handsome fella (I want this one bad) uses the H-21.
Swatch Group seems to be winding down the 7750 in favor of the (developed/released around 2009) ETA C01.211, which is closely related to the famed Lemania 5100. Quite a few Tissot and Certinas are using it, among others.

Like all other McDowell Time watches, these are assembled in Maryland. The Maxton V2 uses the Miyota 6S20 chronograph. I love that it is using a Miyota 6S because it features mechanical feeling pushers, 1/4 chrono sweep and quick reset like the VK series from Seiko, but without the useless 24 hour subdial.
