As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

This combo is one of the best I have ever seen, of any watch and strap. So beautiful.

Thank you! The anthracite dial color made it really hard to find something right. I really like the grey tweed and think it's a great combo. My wife steals this one from time to time. The nude strap that it came with washed out the dial too much.

I may end up with one of these if you keep posting yours  . I'm not sure if it the mesh, or what, but your "real life" pictures have changed my perception of the 5KXs. Sort of moved me from, "meh" to pretty interested in that combo!

Then I'll have to keep posting them!

I think the mesh makes the watch for me. With my small wrists (and knowing the cheapness of Seiko's low end bracelets) I went with the mesh because of its almost limitless adjust-ability. I've found it to be very comfortable, not too heavy as to become fatiguing, but heavy enough to counterbalance the watch head. It also breathes quite well now that it is hot around here, too. Much better than leather or rubber in that respect.

And as a parting gift, here’s a case back shot.

Waited 2 months for the Jubilee to arrive from the States to Canada. National mail service certainly sucks right now on both sides. Worth the wait though I must say 8-)
