How are you liking this one? Minase has been on my "want to buy" list for a while now. They're still pretty unknown outside Japan

I like it a lot. This is the 5 Windows Midsize. It's fun to see inside the watch through the different windows. It's hard to capture but the dial and movement look like they are suspended inside the case. The dial has radial brushing and the level of blue vs purple varies depending on the light. It's an acquired taste, partly because aesthetically it's so different from what most of us are used to seeing and enjoying. Only 1 of my watch friends likes it (others said, "are you that bored?", "WTF is that?", "that's ugly", "oh I am sure it'd look better in person.").

Workmanship is excellent. The case finish is at GS level if not better. The bracelet is amazing - apparently each component is hand finished (burshed and mirror) and I'd go so far to say it's as good as the VC bracelet I checked out a while ago. The guy who sized the bracelet for me said he'd never seen anything like it - it's like a puzzle he said, and it took him around 25 minutes to figure out what to do.

One interesting observation - their midsize variants are not mere smaller versions but completely different designs with different bracelets.

He really wants to get into that, but we only have a switch right now. It is extremely weird to have to learn about video games all over again. I felt so old googling "what is Roblox."

The time came where I "needed" an orange watch. Was either over pay for an skx011, break my pockets for a Doxa 600t or this.

Very happy with my decision.

Thanks BC for the assist. [emoji106]
