As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

You posted a picture of the watch and not the new car?!

I just realized that my grin emoji comes across as a grimace/cringe emoji. 😁 Anyway, I'm really happy with the car so far. Kia Forte GT manual..... wasn't on my list initially but kept presenting itself as a good value and fun to drive. Two quick photos from when I went to pick it up.

Someone else's photo that actually shows the profile. Sorry for the off-topic.

I'm a strong believer in high quality of Korean cars. And they're usually fun to drive too. Stick shift is a cherry on top.
Enjoy in good health!

Today is my first day wearing it. I like the case shape but it has some very sharp edges. There isn't as much room to fit a strap as you might guess so some of those sharp edges rub away at the leather. Plexi is always a plus and a minus which I'm sure you already know. I just now noticed the bezel actually spins freely.....kinda weird but OK with me. It's automatic but I like how all Vostoks hand-wind for some reason. I think my wrist is 7 inches but the size would work for smaller wrists too. I absolutely love the Panerai style sandwich dial with offset small seconds.....and I like the handset too. Lume is brighter than most Vostok when you charge it up but it fades very quickly. I'll post a lume shot at some point. I haven't worn the leather strap that came with it.....but it looks OK. Overall I'm happy for the money. But I'm easy. Things that bother a lot of other watch forum people tend to not bother me quite as much.
