jfield it looks like this is an Alba V601-9020, but there is very little information about it. There is another variant as well.

jfield, here is the technical and operation guide for the V601. It's definitely a variation of the Dancing Hands movements, so any of the manuals for them could be useful as well.

Thanks everyone, looking forward seeing this live. Digging the worn out gold plated look - almost bronze looking. Here's another angle

My thought exactly, the inner ring shouldn't be able to move. I assume the second hand might cycle through or in the worst case I can point to the "require food" with my finger.Sporkboy wrote:Whaaaaat? That is cool. I look forward to hearing how it actually works. The inner ring doesn’t look like it would rotate since that would cause a problem with the sundial at 6.
What I would really dig would be for you to use one of the pushers to cycle through the options and use another to select it. From there it could flash or beep out the message in Morse code. I am really hoping that is it as I can’t think of another practical way to use those options for something useful.
Where did you find this watch?

Been looking for one of these for a while - Cincinatti P-40M Limited Edition Blue.
With international shipping, it ended up being rather pricey compared to RRP, but hey - it's a discontinued watch and I've had watchrecon / watch patrol alerts for months with no hits, so decided to go for it.

Thanks - yes it was limited to 100 pieces, which I gather all sold quickly. My first hand-cranker too!Split-Time wrote:That is really cool! I have not seen that one before. I've ever heard of Delma, but I like the look. I'm looking forward to real life pics.

Some details about the brand, if interested. I first found them when I purchased a Delma watch for my wife in 2002:

Review or did you back the Kickstarter? Either way, a lot to like with this one!ManOnTime wrote:

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
It's coming in for a review. I have a hunch that if I like it a lot I'll back the KS.
