Created for the Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers, the trade association for the UK watch industry, 100% of the profits from the sale of this watch will go to help fund the Alliance’s mission of promoting horological education at home and British watchmaking abroad.
The Alliance 01 is housed in an entirely new 40.5 mm Brunswick case made specially for this watch. With the same beautiful, expert finishing as the rest of the Fears collection, the Alliance 01 sits comfortably on the wrist, slipping under a shirt cuff with ease. Powered by Christopher Ward’s in-house JJ01 jumping hour module, the hour is displayed in a window at 12 o’clock in a bespoke version of our “Edwin’ typeface, with minutes indicated by a conventional hand.
How to buy an Alliance 01
The Alliance 01 is available exclusively to Club members of the Alliance of British Watch & Clockmakers. Here’s how to buy one:
Step 1:
- Become a Club member of the Alliance of British Watch & Clockmakers
here. For only £55 a year, you not only help support the British watch industry but also receive subscriptions to Oracle Time and GMT magazine along with invitations to exclusive events.
- All Club members as of midnight on Thursday 26th January will be eligible to purchase.
- Details of all customers will be checked against the Club database.
Step 2:
- On the morning of Friday 27th January you’ll receive a code to access the product page on the Fears website.
Step 3:
- At 3pm GMT on Friday 27th January the watch will go live on the website and will be available to purchase on a first come, first serve basis.

- Case: 316L Stainless Steel. Polished & Spun (brushed) finished. Screw down bezel & case back. Polished 'onion' shape crown. Underside of lugs engraved with three logos and limited edition number: 01 - 50. (Made in Germany)
