My man. I appreciate you were able to get a personal drumstick! For the first Thanksgiving in decades, I only had to carve 1 turkey! (I usually have about 4-5 to carve, and back in the day I worked at a hotel brau and would carve 10-15)

New watch compliance! Had my name down for the blue dial, but told them I was open to all dial colors. Got an email on Tuesday afternoon saying they just got this one and would hold it until Friday. The green is gorgeous and I'm so happy I got this instead of the blue.

Wowza! Nice score bud! I really do like the color too. It's the 36mm?

@Dub Rubb yep, it's 36mm. The 41mm would have been too big on me. I'm smitten.

When it comes to the DJ, I find it hard to name a better one watch kind of watch. You can totally make that watch work as a unisex, casual, dress, "sports", etc... Seeing your pics makes me miss my DJ, maybe I'll have to readjust my dream wish list and move a 36mm towards the top.

I'd argue the 38mm AT is the most versatile as the fluted bezel always feels a little more dressy.

That said, I love the 36mm size. Some people think it would be too small, but they're wrong. I was real close to pulling the trigger on the rhodium dial/blue accent 39 OP, but didn't want to pay gray market prices. Once they made the 39 into a 41? Never. Never ever ever. Way too big for that style watch.

That's why Stretch made the right choice!!!

Edit: bonus points for the best jubilee on the planet!

Had the pleasure of meeting up with our very own @yinzburgher tonight to talk watches over some pizza and beers. It was quite a fun time IMO and he's the first person I've met up with that was crazy enough to bring as many watches as I did!

Some highlights since I actually remembered to take pics for once
