As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
Best TV Show
Re: Best TV Show
Third episode of WandaVision dropped and things are starting to happen now.
Re: Best TV Show
My wife and I watched this over the course of a few days. It's so good. Hilarious and warm. She and I both loved it.Sussa wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:06 am Just binged the first season of Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ over two days, and I usually can't watch more than 2-3 episodes of anything in a row. The trailer doesn't do it justice, made it seem like a "fish out of water" story where the laughs are all at the expense of a hick out of his depth. That's not it at all. It's smart, touching, and funny without being mean.
I wish that watch were 38mm?
Re: Best TV Show
I am now addicted to "Resident Alien". To me it is a very funny show. The Sheriff is hilarious.
I'll even throw in the first episode unless it is against a rule on the forum.
Re: Best TV Show
Kevin James new show "The Crew" on Netflix was pretty decent. I binged all 10 episodes last night.
Re: Best TV Show
If you haven't watched Schitt's Creek yet, you should. The first few episodes (maybe first season) can be a little tough because the main characters are so unlikeable, but that's the point. Their growth over six seasons is very well-written, and it's one of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud.
Re: Best TV Show
I whole-heartedly second this recommendation. The show just gets better each season.Sussa wrote:If you haven't watched Schitt's Creek yet, you should. Re: Best TV Show
I will wholeheartedly second this. Alan Tudyk is fantastic. His mannerisms and speech patterns are hilarious.
Re: Best TV Show
Disney+ just added The Muppet Show.

Just watched the first two episodes. Rita Moreno and Sandy Duncan are treasures.

Re: Best TV Show
Same! My son will recognize the characters from watching Muppet Babies, but he has only see the "real" Muppets a couple of times, and I can't recall where.
Re: Best TV Show
Falcon and the Winter Soldier's first episode was really good.
Re: Best TV Show
I'm always late to the party with tv shows online. But since I signed up for HBO Max the other day. I stumbled across "Titans" and after 5 episodes I'm liking it a lot. After years of my son watching Teen Titans Go! on Cartoon Network it's a nice surprise that Robin isn't running around screaming at everyone. lol
Of course now I have to watch Doom Patrol as a tie in.
