This evening I asked my daughter if anyone of her classmates were not in school today as I do everyday since COVID.
I then jokingly said to her "Bueller? Bueller? Buelller?"

My wife looked at me and with a straight face said "What's that from?"

Are you kidding me! It's from Ferris Bueller's Day Off!

She then says to me she's never seen it.

I obviously don't know anything about my wife. ;)

I'm a big animated Batman fan. I watched "Batman Soul of Dragon" today and was thoroughly entertained. It has a purposeful 1970's vibe to it which is nice since we've seen Batman in every decade except the 70's. I was fully expecting to see Bruce Wayne as a Pimp in platform shoes. lol

It was like watching a 1970's movie with Batman and Bruce Lee. The other two characters are Lady Shiva and the Bronze Tiger. It would have been funny to have "Shaft" make an appearance.

I also watched "Chick Fight" and laughed a lot.

Just finished "The Cheap Dectective" on Amazon Prime. I forgot how many innuendo's are in the movie. If you've never seen it, it rips on the classic detective movie genre. I found it pretty funny.

Holy crap, look at that cast! Gotta see it for that reason alone.

If you like that type of humor then you will probably like this one as well. It's another Neil Simon movie.

I may have posted this before but...

As a teenager of the 1980's who spent a few winters skiing, this movie just brings back memories. To me this is one of THE BEST comedies EVER. Is it a bead thing that I knew girls who were just like the sister of John Cusack's character and the girlfriend he has to break up with?

Even if you have mentioned it before, I am glad that you brought it back up. I have never seen it but I love a good comedy and anything related to the 80's.

On an unrelated note, by wife just out of the blue said that she wants to watch the Big Lebowski . It has probably been ten years since I have seen that one.

That is one excellent movie.

At least your movie was better than mine and yours didn't cost you anything.

I just finished Wonder Woman 1984 and I can honestly say the best part of the movie was the cameo by (the real Wonder Woman) Linda Carter during the end credits. What a waste of a movie.

My son and I watched Monster Hunter last night. Meh. Movies have definitely taken a dive in quality since the Virus took over.

I just finished Coming to America 2 and can say it was very good. If you liked the first one I think you will like this sequel.
