As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I appreciate this is probably a dumb question that I know the answer to, but...

Is there any way to change my username?

Assuming that there's not, does anyone have any advice on migrating settings over to a newly created profile?

I don't have that many posts that I'm too worried, but I've been thinking I should use a different username and I should probably stop procrastinating. It's causing me to not post as frequently as I would because foolishly I keep thinking that I should wait until I make this change. :oops:
