Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

That's hilarious! I love that they seem to have just upsized a regular mechanical movement, now with jewels that are actually probably worth more than the whole apparatus lol.
Re: The World's Largest Wristwatch
My guess is it was an inexpensive German clock movement in a custom case. Quite a few companies used to make huge, novelty wall clocks that looked like wristwatches, and I believe Swatch occasionally still does.
It's too bad there are no pictures.

Not usually. I would assume in the article watch/clock they were purely decorative to continue the oversized theme of the rest of the piece.cortman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 2:17 pmDo large clock movements use jewels?ManOnTime wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 11:45 amMy guess is it was an inexpensive German clock movement in a custom case.
