The Color of Money
It’s been a very long time since I watched this, and I never really watched it closely and completely.
There is just something about Paul Newman. His acting job was just as interesting as the character. I’ve never seen him in a movie and not become extremely interested. Nobody’s Fool, oddly enough, is one of my favorite movies. It would be complete crap without Newman.
Cruise did a great job. So did Mastrontonio or however you spell her name.
Now I have to watch The Hustler again. Been probably 30 years since I saw it.

Saw Dune 2 in IMAX last week and loved it.
Just watched Spaceman with Adam Sandler and I’m one of the few who really liked it. I don’t think everyone will be touched by it in the same way. For those of us who struggle with balancing intensity with acute awareness of us being terribly flawed, it resonates. I found the alien to be a sense of security and reason that is missing for me and found it profound how the writers managed to bring it all together. Again, not everyone will feel it as being so personal.
