Thank you everyone for taking part in this at personal cost to yourselves. I hope you enjoyed it.
Here's to many more fun competitions.

Re: The Leap Year Watch Challenge
Thank you, Animal Mother for the very fun ride. And thank you to my peers for your votes. It was the most fun I’ve had in awhile, and the competition was steep. I am sad that the watch I voted for did not win, but grateful that folks liked the ones I submitted. Definitely a great way to blow $29.
Re: The Leap Year Watch Challenge
I Googled it and it said it was GMT +2. Central Europe Summer Time, so daylight savings might have something to do with it.pdsf wrote:I thought Munich was GMT+1?!

Congrats Watchpalooza. You did an amazing job of not only winning the first watch challenge, but you set an high benchmark for which we can all strive for in future challenges. I look forward to trying to best you in the next challenge.
Re: The Leap Year Watch Challenge
It was one entry per participant regardless of the number of watches submitted. All watches in a submission had to ring in at less than $29.PetWatch wrote:Which watch got the most votes?Animal Mother wrote:Drum roll please.....

As such, votes were tallied based on the participants name and not a particular watch. I am sorry if that wasn’t clear.

Re: The Leap Year Watch Challenge
Munich is GMT +1, but but in summer they observe daylight savings time (“spring ahead”)...so from March 29 to Oct 24 Munich is GMT +2.
Re: The Leap Year Watch Challenge
Thank you for the clarification! I erroneously assumed UK time was currently GMT, which is not, due to DST! So while Munich is +1 from UK, it is GMT +2!watchpalooza wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 12:26 amMunich is GMT +1, but but in summer they observe daylight savings time (“spring ahead”)...so from March 29 to Oct 24 Munich is GMT +2.
