Ball Trainmaster Ladies Moon Phase review

Hello again,
This is a review of the Ball Trainmaster Automatic Ladies Moon Phase, which I recently acquired. It’s spectacular. It is a counterpart to my husband’s Ball Engineer II Moon Phase. The Trainmaster has a crisper look to it, with sharply pointed hands and beveled silver hour markers containing slender tritium tubes. Small silver stars are applied near the moon and the moon itself is outlined with a silver border (as is the date window). The blue mother-of-pearl face has a lot of depth and varies in different lights. The domed crown is easy to manipulate. The Engineer has a screw-in crown but the Ladies Trainmaster does not. I do not prefer a screw-in crown as I find it makes it a pain to set the watch. The multi-link style of the bracelet is very attractive and smoother than the intentionally chunky Engineer bracelet. Both watches seem to keep perfect time. I was concerned that I would find it too small at 34mm, but it’s actually a perfect size for itself and I would not want it smaller or larger. And of course, seeing the moon glow at night is really something special.
