There is precedent for an artist getting credit for their dial work. My dials say designed by Sporkboy, but Sporkboy Made would have been way cooler I think. Sussa Made is a golden idea.

Now I only want one if it says "Sussa Made." That really would be a cool touch!
Aw, shucks you guys! I was going to politely demur, but far be it from me to keep Split-Time from getting a sweet new watch.

If it's going to have some variation of my name on it, it's only right for yours to be there as well. You're actually producing something for this project!

(By no means does this mean I am belittling anyone else's contribution.)

I think I might be with you here. I also like the

Thanks again Sussa, you are a champ! I really appreciate all the work you are doing here, truly spectacular!

Hmm, I'm guessing "Perlative Compliant" is out then ?

I hope this is open for all to purchase/participate in? This would replace the Cincinatti MoT watch I was hoping for!

Regardless, based on the various mock-ups, I think the dial designs start to decline once the fonts start changing spacing and size on the same line.
For example, even the questionable Tevise's "perlative ceronometer" I mention has a dial with uniform spacing and font size that actually makes their nonsense words look decent on the dial.

I think any dial's looks start to decline once there is too much p r i n t i n g variances on it.
Simple, centered, uniform = yay!

Just a thought

I saw support for three dial versions, so I'm showing them again here, plus a new version of Perpetual with the letters spaced out to center MoT. Any other variations anyone would like to see?

Continuous MoT compliance?!?

I really like the original 2 line personally, but also really like symmetry[emoji23]

Also, I know it's ManOnTime, but I am not a big fan of the mix of capitals and lowercase on the dial, except for the MoT abbreviation.

Also, I will still fully be behind whatever the people want. I am a man of the people!

Here's a new version without mixed letter cases. With everything being caps, I made the text a little smaller. Now it's roughly the same width as the logo and better balanced in my opinion. We could maybe go a skosh smaller on the text or larger on the logo too. Any other iterations anyone would like to see?

Any chance to make the second hand in the clock match same color of MANONTIME?
Would that even print correctly if that were on the dial?

Yep! I think that would be a neat accent if...

That's the question. There's .5mm between the end of the second hand and the pinion dot. I don't know how SM prints, so I can't say if there could be a problem. In traditional printing methods, the white and the orange would be laid in separate passes. There would be a chance of the registration being slightly off, and we don't have much room for error. If they print in a way that both colors are printed at the same time, we're good. Knowing how little they charge for customization, I have to think they either have a way of doing both colors at once or they don't allow two colors. We can always ask.

Looks pretty good to me.

This looks fantastic - the red second hand is like the parsley on a fine meal!
Not that you are busy or anything... but any chance of showing us what this dial looks like in the watch? :)

Crap. Time to start saving $$$....
