I've tried sending a private message twice to BruceR but they stayed in my Outbox and never made it to the Sent items.

If they remain in your Outbox it means the recipient hadn't read it yet.

This is the way the forum software works. Messages appear in the outbox until the recipient opens them. Once opened / read they move to Sent. In your case it means [mention]BruceR[/mention] has not opened them.

This is the way the forum software works. Messages appear in the outbox until the recipient opens them. Once opened / read they move to Sent. In your case it means @BruceR has not opened them.
