The Pinnacle Moon Phase is the watch that I have wanted to make for many years. There have been many challenges in getting this project off the ground, but after finding the right combination of manufacturers, it was time to make this dream come true. The watch is a 36mm automatic moon phase dress watch with highly polished details.

The Pinnacle Moon Phase uses a unique stainless steel bezel that is reminiscent of the 14010 Air King that my father wore when I was growing up (and still does to this day). While I can’t say I’ve been a watch enthusiast since I was a child, this bezel has definitely been on my mind ever since I got into watches later in life. I’ve always wanted to incorporate this bezel into one of my watches.

This watch has two dial variants – a beautiful white dial and a meteorite dial. Both come with highly polished details – the Grand Seiko inspired indices and a ring surrounding the moon disk. The minute track is inspired by the minute tracks on various clocks that can be seen throughout the architecture of Chicago, where Alexander James Watches is based.

On schedule, (the Pinnacle preorder) will kick off on May 31st at 9AM Central Time with a goal of $40,000. Since my technical chops aren't amazing, there won't be a live % Funded widget on the page, but I will be updating stats every so often. On each of the watch sales pages, there will be an inventory count. Each watch will start with 50 pieces, so you can keep track of how many units have been claimed and are left. Again, this will be Kickstarter Style, and you won't be charged unless the campaign is successful.

Affiliate/Referral Program
I have also spun up something new for this project, and that's an affiliate/referral program. This is a way that you will be able to get up to an additional $50 off of your Pinnacle. If you purchase the watch, you will be sent an email with a referral code, which I will track (this could be a few hours delayed since I'll be doing this manually). Once the campaign is over, you will receive $10 off for every person who has used your code (up to $50 total off).

Cases For the Modders
While I have a separate newsletter for my AJuiceT customer base, I know that there are some of you who like to dabble with modding. I've been asked if the cases used for the Pinnacle will be available as a Seiko mod case, and the answer is YES (if the campaign is successful). So, NH35 compatible cases will also be available as a part of the crowdfunding!
