Batiscafo, out of Seattle, has released their first Kickstarter for the Quadro45, a vintage military inspired bronze diver.
Campaign reads like a personal passion project opposed to a business startup, so take that into consideration when deciding to back.

"My watch design is inspired by batiscafo, first free-diving deep-sea submersible machines made from 1948. It was massive body structure with small illuminators able to go down at least 10km. I designed this watch for people, who adore vintage watches aesthetics as same as I am. Idea is to focus attention on a CuSN8 classic cushion shape Bronze case. No basel case is massive and solid with digits etched directly on face which a unique feature. Dial is pretty small for 45mm case. From this layout we can see a lot of bronze surface. This material is giving amazing patination possibilities, which is creating unique look for each timepiece. Durable and time approved japanese Seiko NH35N automatic caliber with date indicator. 20BAR waterproof case allow you to use watches for scuba diving. Please enjoy this piece of art!
