BUCI out of Paris, have launched their first Kickstarter for their debut collection, the "Garde-temps" an automatic watch with poetic inspiration.
This might not be for me or for many, but I respect what they're doing. The watch comes cased along with a book of poetry. That's kind of cool.
And I think the watches are really purty too, though a tad pricey. On the other hand, haven't seen the Soprod Newton offered in many other releases.

BUCI was born from the meeting between watchmaking and poetry. Motivated by the desire to make our time more poetic, I imagined the BUCI universe as an allegory of poetry of time. Our collection of automatic watches "Garde-temps" is the result of the work and passion of French watchmakers and artists.

The Garde-temps is available in three colorways - Red/Brick, Green, or Beige

@WPybus, so nice to read a fan of Rumi ! Actually on the rehaut or rotor seems pretty good idea but does not fit with my concept to change easily the message. We have other quote about Love, Eternity and Freedom to make our time more poetic also

I love it when watch designers/creators take the time to engage with customers, plus it’s a great way for them to get some feedback from total strangers!! (And this is the best place on the web for friendly feedback!)
@Buci I totally understand that this is your creative concept and think you have created a fantastic looking watch; I would have backed your project but am on a watch buying hiatus and trying to save some money!! My Rumi idea was just because I love the poetry and am so pleased you are incorporating it into your design, it certainly creates “a moment of happiness”
