Re: WRUW
Two very different watches today. First the square and then the Baltic.

Re: WRUW
I basically wore two different chronographs today and didn't time a single thing.......how embarrassing! Usually I at least think of one stupid, inconsequential thing to time. Tell me you did better with the Speedy.

Re: WRUW
Sorry ! I do enjoy having a chronograph at my disposal, but today wasn't a day when I had a use. As I put it away this evening I reminded myself that were it not for this place I would probably be a 2-3 watch man. Now the Merkur with the ST19? The last time I wore it there was a lot of use....who knows, but I enjoy it, too .yinzburgher wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 9:57 pmI basically wore two different chronographs today and didn't time a single thing.......how embarrassing! This watch has just sort of spoiled me. We recently bought a boat and my wife said that next to the Speedy she has never seen me so happy with a purchase. That meant a lot to me .

Next time, next time. Congrats on the boat! But unfortunately now you're gonna need a regatta timer.Split-Time wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:29 pmSorry ! Not that kinda boat . I used to sail. Raced a bit when I was pretty young and crewed a bit. Never had a special watch, but also never knew that there was such an animal. Maybe I need to look into one .yinzburgher wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:35 pmNext time, next time. Congrats on the boat! My watch today is a recent find in the bottom of a watch cabinet with 17 other watches and two clocks. This one just needed a demag and reset of the balance.
