Atmoss Watches, out of Brisbane, Australia, have launched their first collection, the SR-01 pilot's watch.

Atmoss is a small watch company based in Brisbane, Australia designing considered, well made wrist watches for daily wear. While Atmoss Watches as a brand, has been around for about a year, our journey started 4 years ago. Between flying small low-tech planes throughout Australia and working as a designer in an architectural fit out firm, our founder Warrick recognised a space for a pilots watch with genuine function in the **** that can blend in to your day-to-day life. We're big fans of the simple, purposeful watchmaking design of the 60's and 70's so for our first project, we’ve taken on a concept that can often be very busy, or over designed and applied our modern, utilitarian take on this classic pilots instrument. The SR-01 carries all of the function you could expect from a pilots watch, whilst not being out of place as your everyday watch.
The Pilots Slide Rule
A slide rule is a tool used by pilots to perform calculations in flight, and on the ground during flight planning. It’s essentially an analogue calculator on your wrist. The outer, and inner scales work together to calculate things such as flight duration based on planned speed, fuel burn and weight conversions. It’s also a handy calculator for your day-to-day that can perform multiplication and division.
The SR-01 is available in three colorways - black, grey, or white.

- Case: Stainless steel 316L in finely brushed finish
- Diameter: 41mm
- Thickness: 10.5mm / 11.4mm including the low dome sapphire crystal
- Lug to lug: 48.5mm
- Crystal: Low dome sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment
- Bezel: Bi-directional stainless steel bezel with pilots slide rule
- Lume: Swiss BGW-9 lumen applied to hands and index markers
- Caseback: Exhibition sapphire with custom anodised black movement rotor

- Straps: 316L Stainless Steel Engineers Bracelet and a high grade 20mm FKM rubber strap
