Formula 1 was founded in 1950, igniting the fascination and passion for fast cars with powerful, high-horsepower engines. Innovative race cars and breathtaking motorsport races captivated audiences worldwide. Leipzig was also the venue for an international motorsport event with a remarkable racing history: the Leipzig City Park Race from 1952 to 1958.
