My latest vintage watch acquisition

Post by cortman »

I love vintage watches. I just bought this one:

1949 Bulova Shoreham

I love the engraved case- the engraving on this one is still really sharp and clean.

I believe it must have been serviced recently, as it's running extremely well.

If you wanted one of these new, it would have set you back roughly $740 in today's money!

It's small- but eminently wearable on my 7" wrist. 25.5mm diameter, 38mm lug to lug, 9mm thick, and 15mm (gross) lug width. Right now it's on a Hirsch embossed croc strap.

Thanks for reading!

Sweet! I wish I had your watch maintenance skills to be confident enough to get some funky, vintage watches
