I’m going to see Dune 2 in IMAX format next Friday and have the best seats in the house. I’m excited about this one. May even finally try 4DX if I’m as blown away as I’m expecting.

Here’s a cool review video of these two Dune 2 watches. The digital version is growing on me, but the price seems absurd.

Timex, better than most, really nails the reissues.

Here it is from the 1971 catalog where it was sold as an Electric for $30, or roughly $232 in 2024 dollars.

Timex claims this watch has an “ultra-precise quartz movement”.

I see the place for a quick change of a 377 battery, but have no idea of what this movement is. No discussions on WUS or Reddit.

Any ideas?
