Relay has Brooks Ghost shoes cheapest I can find by $10. Relay says refurbished I think, but the Brooks are new. I bought Ghost 14 and 15 for me and my wife. All new and better than anywhere.
Relay has a good cause of finding a home for supposedly refurbished shoes. You can assume based on my experience that if you’re saving 10-20% off the very best deals on the net, the shoes are brand new. Supposedly they went to waste if they aren’t bought at Relay.
She wears this in a medical setting.

I wear these two walking and everywhere else except trails.

Here’s my Ghost 15 in wrong size. I was able to get 12.

^^^ Wow thanks!
Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! NON watch items
I picked the Keteles K800.
1) Price/Value - At $1,499 delivered with no tax it’s a mid tier price with high tier performance
2) Large battery - 48v23a nearly matches the 52v and 60v capacities from Ariel Rider and Wired
3) Dual Motor - easily the least expensive bike running 2 x 1000w brushless motors. In fact it’s less than many bikes with only one 750w or 1000w motors. Dual motors also help with traction and acceleration in any situation.
4) Fat Tire - I wanted something that could handle street, trails and beach sand. Only a fat tire can handle all 3.
5) Speed - At 33mph (some have quoted 35mph) It’s nearly as fast as the Kepler and Freedom which cost $500 - $700 more. Usually and legally class II bikes are limited to 20mph. Most have hacks or unlocks to unleash the full potential. My current GEN3 was limited to 20, disconnecting 1 wire moved it to 24mph.
6) Other features and nice touches:
- Large LED headlight and real brake light
- Shimano switch gear / 21speed
- Adjustable front shock
- Hydraulic brakes, 180mm discs, 2 piece rotors
- Phone holder w/ integrated charger
- Stand doesn’t interfere with pedals (some models get this wrong)
- Full fenders, storage bag and 200# capacity rear rack
- Ability to turn off one motor when cruising to extend battery life
Can’t wait to get this one.

Seems like the e-bike equivalent of my KLR650, a tractor.CVP33 wrote:I picked the Keteles K800.

I have a ‘23 CRV hybrid that has me very interested in electric-driven hubs and AWD schemes. It’s interesting. This car rear wheels are driven by CV axles like most. But what’s weird is that it’s not mostly about lost traction reactionary junk like most systems, especially Japanese. It’s about steering wheel angle and road conditions. There’s a torque distribution screen that even confirms operation. Honda mastered envisioning a performance arc through a turn and split it into two arcs that give a conventional momentum shift that allows a good driver to do more with less. Once you master the shift, this thing will easily smoke ‘23 Civic Si on twisties. I’ve had 5 Civic Si coupes, 1 Type R, and 2 accord V6 coupe manuals since 2008 fwiw.
I’ve also ridden for hours playing in a Tesla Plaid. We hurt the next day like we’d been through hell. Not kidding. Lots of core strengthening!
But I’m an electric hub guy now. I will likely never buy another regular car, and my first car had an engine built by a NASCAR builder who also built for the Waltrips. Put $40k into a VW GTI in 1992 that I raced for 2 years. Lots of fuel sniffing, but I’m sold on EVs if you can handle the range. Mine gets 550 miles on a tank at 45 mpg in town and then is incredible on my twisty roads here all over where I live on Cumberland Plateau in TN.
I digress. I’m stoked you put this up for us. You cut hours off the work for me. I need to decide where I’ll use it most and then decide. It’s not bike friendly here unfortunately and never will be I don’t think.
Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! NON watch items
@Robotaz - we have a similar take on stuff.
1) Hub motors - That’s why so much talent left Tesla to start Lucid. They wanted to further the tech and Elon was more interested in milking the current tech, which is his right. The Lucid moves all that power to each wheel and can essentially be AWD and modulate the power to help with steering/handling at speed. Now that the prices are closer to $75K with ranges over 325 miles…..my next vehicle will definitely be electric.
2) Built motors. Bischoff racing built my forged motor for my Chrysler 300C SRT8. The goal was to have a 9 second 300 which would’ve been the fastest at the time. Motor could handle 15psi. We threw 11psi at it and hit over 700hp on the dyno but ran out of fuel. Backed it off to 9psi and 625RWHP and ran 10.70’s with drag radials and 1.60 60’s. I then caught the road racing bug and was done with 1/4 mile so we never went the rest of the way. Confident with a fuel system (dual pumps and larger lines), ProCharger F1 blower and upgraded rear axles we would’ve easily hit 9.99.
