This is looking like a good year for football cards. There are new sets hitting retail stores in September. Mosaic should be a great set.

The new Prestige Football Mega Box ($39.99) is worth getting if you see any. I wouldn't buy the other packs. I got a 1/1 Joe Burrow printing plate and a Jake Fromm Rookie QB autograph.

Topps Chrome Baseball should be in stores this week. Watch the pack prices on eBay to see if they are worth flipping. They might do well the first week. Sell in small lots to save on shipping.

Example: 5 Blasters will cost $100 + tax. If they sell on eBay for $200, that's over $50 net profit. At $150 on eBay, you wouldn't make much.

Also, I was dragged to TJ Maxx and HomeGoods over the weekend. I couldn't help myself looking at the shoes and boots on clearance and seeing what they are selling for on eBay, Amazon, and poshmark. Still didn't buy anything but was tempted

I open most of the packs I buy. Some people just flip them sealed. Some people store them sealed and hope they will be worth more later.

Printing plates aren't that valuable compared with jersey patch autographs, but it's still a lot more than the pack cost.

Actually, I get really excited pulling a good card.

If you want some really low-risk fun, buy these on eBay for $20 a pack. Close to 100% chance of getting your money back in single cards.
