As just a watch, I like this one. As a chrono it is pretty terrible. The good still outweighs the bad as long as I’m not using the chrono.

What's bad about the chrono? Looks good on the Forstner.

I caught today's two pictures in the sunlight, but normally the black subdial hands are invisible on the black subdials. The 24 hour subdial is :?. Maybe I am too critical. The Speedy really is the near-perfect chrono, design wise, I think.

I do enjoy this as a quartz watch. There is no second hand, but when I need one the red chrono second hand is a nice bit of color. I find pandas to be really cool. This is my only panda and it came from tommy_boy, so there are a couple of cool bits.

Also, I like everything on the Forstner so I may not know what actually looks good and what doesn't...but thanks for the comment!

Legion! Hope everyone is doing well, as I am hopelessly behind. Dug out this little number for Vintage Wednesday compliance.

First ever watch I bought, back when I was in Germany visiting family at 11 years old. Needs a new battery, but it has held up decently well.

Total eclipse of the wrist. Pretty sure this is vintage, but pet compliance for good measure.

My wife called to tell me while I was at work . A great man gone. I recommend his biography, “Carrying the Fire” if you have not read it. He had a unique ability to write, unique among people with his background, I should say. I mentioned this to my wife when I read the book, the someone asked him around the Apollo 11 50th anniversary what he would recommend young people study and his answer was, “one can never go wrong studying the English language,” or something very close to that.

As I close this post out with a run-on sentence .

Non compliant today. I was a little dressier at the office today and felt the Milus was appropriate. I only notice the scrapes on the band in pictures...then it bugs me.

Changed bands at work and utilized my Sporkboy special!
